High Securiity Registration Plates
After the Supreme Court order of 2011, many states in India have initiated the tendering process to start the installation of high security registration plates (HSRP) for all new and existing vehicles in their jurisdiction, and Frost International is one of the key players facilitating its roll out in the country.
HSRP is a solution meant for traffic departments of state governments to better manage, track and administer the vehicle population of their respective states. Through standardization, database
management, compliance with existing road laws and providing easy-to-use features used by law
enforcement, the solution has direct and far reaching implication for governing all vehicular traffic, ownership and crime, not just for the state but nationally.
Initially entering the business as an investing partner with licence holder Agros Impex, Frost International has made significant investments towards setting up HSRP production units in the states of Delhi and Gujarat, and has now taken over the reins of Agros Impex. Presently, Frost International has secured the tenders for the states of Assam, Punjab and Gujarat and has commenced new vehicle fitments of HSRP at the various Transport Offices of the states at different locations.
For the state of Gujarat, Frost International set up a plant for the manufacture of HSRP. The plant has an adequate production capacity to support the HSRP solution in Central and Southern Indian states, should Frost International bid for and win any tenders for the other states in the country. To facilitate execution of contracts, Frost International & Agros along with their JV partner Trinity have incorporated three SPVs viz. AFT HSRP Solutions (P) Ltd., HSRP Solutions Punjab (P) Ltd., and FTA HSRP Solutions (P) Ltd.
Bhavnagar Port
Frost International forayed into stevedoring operations at the Bhavnagar Port in Gujarat in the year 2013. As an underdeveloped port, Bhavnagar offers significant opportunities for growth in both stevedoring and other areas of port operations.
Renewable Wind Energy
Conscious about reducing its carbon footprint and environmental commitments, Frost International has set up a green energy project in the form of a 4.25 MW wind farm at Tuticorin and Tirunelveli in September 2011.
The Wind Farm is supported by a power purchase agreement signed with the Tamil Nadu Government, and supplies green power to the state electricity grid. Additionally, Frost International is accredited with the UNFCC and is earning carbon credits for this endeavour.
Zaz Tannery
Zaz Tannery became part of the Frost International family with its acquisition in 2011. A sick unit at the time, Zaz Tannery received significant funding and management support in order to accomplish its purpose.
Today, as a subsidiary of Frost International, Zaz Tannery produces leather based safety shoes that are used by people across the country in industrial areas. Additionally, the tannery supplies its products to third party vendors, who in turn supply these steel-toe shoes to the Indian Army, among other customers.
Future plans for the tannery include evaluation and foray into international markets where construction laws and regulations mandate the use of products that are the forte of Zaz Tannery.

Coal Mining (Meghalaya)
Frost International has leased a one km stretch of land for a period of 30 years at Khasi Hills in the Eastern Indian state of Meghalaya, and has also constructed road connectivity to facilitate the mining and transportation of coal. Owing to the location and distance of the mines, it is not economically viable to transport and consume the high quality coal within the country.
Coal mined from the open pit mines is transported via Frost International's own trucks, for export and onward delivery and consumption by power plants and other users in Bangladesh.
