Projects
The Projects Office at Frost International was set up with the single minded goal of diversifying into lines of business that help the company secure its growth and market position from a future standpoint. Set up in 2011, the Projects Office provides the necessary environment for incubation of new business ideas, start up projects, new ventures and evaluation of opportunities for both forward and backward integration, and others that have potential to grow into strong, independent business lines for the company. In a short time, the Office has overseen the diversification of Frost International into previously unrelated businesses, such as PPP in the Transportation space, initiation of stevedoring operations at the Bhavnagar Port in Gujarat, setting up of a wind farm in Tamil Nadu, and participation in the oil and gas exploration auctions of NELP IX, held by the Government of India. The Office has a strong pipeline of new projects under evaluation, and the future may see the company diversify further into profitable, strong, capital intensive businesses.

Coal Mining (Meghalaya)
Frost International has leased a one square km stretch of land for a period of 30 years at Khasi Hills in the Eastern Indian state of Meghalaya, and has also constructed road connectivity to facilitate the mining and transportation of coal. Owing to the location and distance of the mines, it is not economically viable to transport and consume the high quality coal within the country.
Coal mined from the open pit mines is transported via Frost International's own trucks, for export and onward delivery and consumption by power plants and other users in Bangladesh.
